Summary: Not meant for the professional
Comment: To say I was dissapointed is an understatement. This is definitely a laymans book. I had wanted a book for reference but this is about as non-specific as you can get. If you are a massage therapist, you do not want this book.

Summary: A Great Resource!
Comment: Illustrated step-by-step massage techniques, warmups and stretches are described that will help prepare the muscles for workout and reduce post exercise discomfort. Included are sports-specific massage routines for runners, cyclists, swimmers, skiiers, skaters, and court- and team-sports players. Specific hands-on routines demonstrate how to target the hamstrings, shoulders, lower back and other vulnerable muscle groups. Pre-and post-event massage regimens are described, and techniques of self- and partner massage are elucidated.
