Summary: Great Training Schedules
Comment: I've been looking for charts to help me with mileage and training for various races and this one has a ton to choose from. I'm training for my first marathon using his Novice marathon guide and it has been great. Finally, some concrete schedules to use for any distance!

Summary: An excellent compendium of training ideas
Comment: I am quite surprised by the negative reviews of this book. I have found it helpful for training for races ranging in length from 10 to 50 kilometers. Skim it, read it, study it, but at the least you'll never have to buy another series of training charts.

Comment: I have purchased many of Hal's books and this is the only one I have ever been disappointed in. Not at all worth owning, the contents of this book is mainly training charts.
