Comment: I recommend this book.

This book does the student, parent or councilor the great service of providing a north American list of Colleges that have "comprehensive" or special services" for students with learning disabilities. This is a tremendous help and comes as a revelation to those who are just starting the college selection process.

Acknowledging the value of the list I would like a couple of changes: 1) I would prefer that the list be a single list. That is I would prefer that in the front of the book there was a table that listed "comprehensive" and "special services" programs separately but that the body of the book be made up of one list of entries. Each entry could be marked clearly as to whether the school had "comprehensive" or "special services" programs. The reason for this is that the process of cross referencing the school profiles against a second list would be quicker and less awkward. This issue brings me to my second suggestion. 2) I used "Rugg's recommendations on the Colleges" to pick out schools which were strong in the desired major. It would be nice if a list of this kind could be incorporated into each entry. Most schools are stronger on certain subjects than others and it is certainly helpful for an ADD/LD student to know which subjects are regarded as that schools strengths
