Comment: This is by far one of the most important books that anyone can read about iconography. Ouspensky covers just about everything: the history of icons, the theology behind them, the defense of icons and their veneration, the difference between Orthodox Icons and other forms of art, etc. This is must reading for every Orthodox Christian or anyone interested in Orthodoxy, especially for protestants.
