Summary: Everything you need to know!
Comment: Many books on program evaluation focus on complicated techniques, theories, and processes. Phillips' 'Handbook' presents training evaluation in a practical, useful manner. Each chapter clearly presents the whys and hows of training evaluation. He presents the research fundamentals, but also considers the feasibility of many processes used by researchers--offering options to those of us who need evaluation, but work in the 'real-world'. This is by far the best book on evaluation!

Summary: Best handbook on training evaluation available.
Comment: The 3rd edition of the Handbook of Training Evaluation and Measurement Methods is the most comprehensive text on the process to evaluate training programs. The book is used in organizations as well as colleges and universities to help practitioners and managers of training evaluation understand the process as well as the importance of evaluating all training programs. If it's worth doing -- it's worth measuring! This book is definitely worth buying!
