Summary: kids book great for adults too
Comment: This was my favorite book in sixth grade. I checked it out from the library a dozen times. recently I saw it in a used book store and couldn't imagine not owning it. It is a beatuifuly sad coming-of-age story about a gil who is forced to follow into her mother's goddess footsteps. As an adult I see my stuggle though the teenage years in snow eyes. Something, I didn't realize when I read it as a kid.
