Summary: invaluable research tool!
Comment: As a writer currently writing about WW2 fliers, I found Larkin's book, U.S. Navy Aircraft 1921-1941 to be immensely invaluable. Its descriptions and pictures of the plethora of planes is awesome. This obviously comes from one who'se been there, done it, worn the T-shirt. I applaud the publishers ofthis book for having e enviable foresight to give us another piece of history so well documented and yes, fun to read.

Comment: This fantastic book covers the U. S. Navy and Marine Aircraft and is supported by pictures, history, etc. Over 1,000 photographs included! This book has been arranged chronologically, and feature an aircraft assignment table for each year indicating which aircraft and which squadrons were assigned to specific locations. A must have reference for those interested in Navy and Marine squadron history!
