Summary: Wake up call
Comment: This book really hits home! It's something you hope would not happen at all in the very near future, but it is possible. It's a "what if" the US government took control of every local church, and owning a Bible was forbidden. This was a very well thought out plot by David Gray. I look forward to reading the sequel, "The Shepherd's Man" because this book has a lot of punch! It gets interesting as Scott Sampson and Jeff Anderson go toe to toe with Jacob Hill and Dr. Steiger. This could be a wake up call to all Christians to step outside the comfort zone, and it isn't always the easy thing to do. I have to say this is a must read for anyone who has stands firm in their faith. How far would you really be willing to go?
