Although the author is not a physicist, he did review his work with a number of them as he wrote and the result is a book about physics, creation, oneness, and consciousness that is both fun and tremedously informative to read. I highly recommend it to spiritual seekers and budding scientists alike.

Comment: This is not the easiest book to read if you have a limited background in science but it is well worth the effort. It is an astonishing work. I recommend it highly to those with an open mind and a thirst for understanding the nature of the universe. I have read more scientific texts and simpler texts -- this book strikes a remarkable balance. I truly enjoyed this book and it has inspired me to read more on the topics discussed. THIS BOOK IS DEEP! Read and enjoy.

Summary: Exploring Realities as States of Consciousness
Comment: STALKING THE WILD PENDULUM is a truly classic book in the field of consciousness that's lots of fun to read! Packed with cartoons, graphs, and diagrams, this book entertains as it educates. Scientific theories and experimental results are presented in plain English that clearly show how different realities are actually different states of consciousness... and how we can move from one to another.
One of my all-time favorite exercises on stopping time is described -- which helped me better understand how I'd done that when I was a teenager, and wondered if anyone else had ever seen time slow to a stop. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to understand the true nature of reality and consciousness.
