Comment: "How to Change Your Spouse" offers worthwhile, enjoyable reading for people in longterm intimate relationships. It also makes for good outside reading for therapists to give to couples in marriage counseling. Wright and Oliver alternate the authorship of chapters. Both employ a great deal of humor and easily recognizable everyday scenarios in which the reader finds his or her own experiences. Oliver's writing feels especially supportive and encouraging.
