Summary: Excellent book
Comment: I consider this book to be a model for an instruction book. I built several kayaks. This book provided 95% of my knowledge. I do not know how out-dated it might have become since I have not followed the materials industries closely in the last few ears.

It is too bad that it is out of print.

Comment: A complete guide to building fiberglass kayaks and canoes. I describes the how, where and why to use different materials such as e-glass, s-glass, Kevlar, epoxy and polyester and the pro's and con's of different layups. Definitely a book worth having if you use fiberglass to build small boats of any kind
