Summary: Practical suggestions that work!
Comment: This book was great. The suggestions are practical enough that anyone can put them to use, yet powerful enough that they work. Talbott uses metaphors which help accentuate the importance of Cortisol control in an easy to understand and sometimes humorous way. I've been practicing Talbott's suggestions for two months and can definitely notice a difference. In today's high stress society this book will help just about anybody from the corporate businessman to the elite athlete.

Summary: Why a perfect diet doesn't always mean perfect results.
Comment: As an owner of a metabolism and body composition lab, I have seen some people who just can't seem to get results equal to the efforts put forth. After chalking my own slow metabolism up to genetics, I had a major blood panel and hormone panel done. I found that my Cortisol level was very high and with some research I found this book. Wow! What an eye opener. Dr. Talbot explains exactly why stress will defeat your efforts with fat loss and even why your energy levels are zapped. He also has a sensible plan to manage it and get your body and health back on track.

Summary: For people who are stressed and can't lose weight
Comment: This book is essential for anyone who is gaining weight and stressed and but alot of us do not realize how stress makes us fat. This book is me. It describes me and exactly the battle I have had for the last year and half with gaining weight and being so stressed out. Talbot has added to this book a new product called Cortislim that you can now buy and check out on the internet for more info. Go to Cortislim.com. I am alao implimanting alot of the other suppletments to help me deal with my stress and get the weight off and it has been working. For a year I have been searching for what the heck was wrong with me and why I was gaining alot of abdomenal fat mostly. Well for anyone else out there that cannot figure it out this book may be for you. I recommend it for anyone who is watching what they eat putting in their exercise time and not seeing zilch happen. This may be what is wrong. Too much cortisal causing havoc in your body.
