Comment: Yossi Brain's Trekking in Bolivia is an excellent book from a superb mountain guide who obviously knows Bolivia and her mountains well. If you're planning on hiking in this magnificent country, then Brain's book is the one for you!

Comment: Don't bother buying this book, it is no good. Inaccurate maps and descriptions and smart-ass writing style.

Summary: Confusing Maps!
Comment: We found the maps and hiking times listed for destinations very inaccurate. The description of the trail routes lack detail and can be very confusing. One of the hikes we did in Boliva was the Choro Trial. This is ONE of the 3 Inca Trails in Boliva. One would assume that of any treks, this one would have been accurate. Not the case. If you are looking for a guide book to help you plan your treks in Boliva and/or Peru go with the Brant Guide book.
