Summary: Excellent book and to the point
Comment: This is an an unbelievably good little book. There is not a word of fluff or hype in the book, and is basically a consolidation of the book Million Dollar Consulting. If you buy it, and I recommend you do, read it very slowly as the words are chosen carefully.
Here's what the book will not do, however:
1) The book will not hype you up to win, win win and motivate you. Dr. Weiss assumes you are already motivated to improve yourself and your business.
2) The book will not teach you your craft such as consulting, being an attorney, etc. You need to take specific classes to acquire the skills.
3) The book will not be very applicable unless you are already fairly busy and have a fairly good number of clients. If you are very hungry for business, you will miss many of the concepts presented.
However, if you have the above issues figured out, Dr. Weiss's book has a great potential to take you to a new level.

Summary: Outstanding
Comment: A tiny book with a very high content density. The reviewer saying below that it's a replay of Million-$ Consulting is somewhat right, it is a highly compressed version of some of the ideas from the aforementioned bigger book, but for those new to this author, or those who simply haven't read it, or those not ready to invest the time in the bigger book this brochure will be invaluable.
One caveat: there are many euphemisms in this book, and to fully appreciate the advice given therein you need to have had some experience, so that you can relate the presented concepts to the actual events in your past. Aha, you'll be saying, THAT'S why it went the way it did then; aha, I wish I had articulated this or that particular idea before. OK, so now Mr Weiss articulated it for you, very concisely, straight to the point, with no hot air whatsoever.
With all that in mind, "How to Maximize Fees..." is a great little book, and I can wholeheartedly recommend absolutely anyone to read it. Then, when (and if) you have more time, after you know Weiss offers meaningful advice and not going to treat you to another load of inflated banalities and feel-good preachy bs, you can move on to his other, more extensive works.

Summary: Buy Million Dollar Consulting....
Comment: and save the seven bucks. All this information is already contained within Alan's other works -- particularly "Million Dollar Consulting" and "Getting Started in Consulting". Also, the book isn't really 52-pages -- its only 21 (I counted). Alan prints his info on the right-hand page with a relavent quote on the left-hand page. Also, he began counting pages long before the manuscript begins (table of contents is page #5) and long after (for instance, 2-pages of advertisements for his other products/services and 2-pages of blank-pages, aka "notes"). Additional warning: Some other reviewers have mentioned that Alan is a little self aggrandizing -- often coming off as superior and pompous. I have to agree. No doubt, Alan provides absolutely terrific advice; But I strongly urge you to use the seven bucks to purchase one of his other books instead.
