The book was edited by the late George E.Turner, a staff member of ASC, a Hollywood professional, a special effects artist, animator, journalist, historian and professor. The book also has the valuable contributions of other experts such as Rudy Behlmer, Scott MacQeen, Paul Mandell, George J. Mitchell and Michael H. Price, most of them movie professionals, writers or illustrators. The book captures its reader with the wealth of data it gives on 24 films, and thoroughly covers the interests of any film fan or student.
