Comment: While many of the chapters contain information that will never change this 20-year-old edition is very outdated for anyone who may be or planning on eing a Marine. There are more recent issues of the guidebook that should be offered as replacements for this antiquated issue.

Comment: I ordered this copy for old time sake.I joined the Corps in 1984 and had lost my copy.I ordered this copy hoping to replace the lost copy but I really thought this would be the updated copy.I was upset to get the book only find that it is the 1983 edition.So much has happened to the Corp since '83 that is edition is now obsolete.If you want an updated copy wait for someone who has a used copy to sell theirs.it's cheaper and better.Semper Fi,Devil Dogs.
