Summary: POETRY AND DISASTROUS FIRES-I DON'T KNOW
Comment: When I first ordered this book, I neglected to note that it is largely a book of poetry. Obenzinger describes great New York Fires from the 1600's to the 1980's but does so through poems and period writings. I would much prefer to have skipped all of that and actually learned something about these fires. Some of the stories here are good but fire buffs will be dissapointed. Save the poetry for another book!
