Comment: While this book is not for beginners, it is a wonderful resource for turnover cuff patterns. Steeped in tradition, and collected by the Dowager Lady Veronica. It even gives you a glimpse into the personality of this wonderful Lady through some of the letters written to the publisher.

If you are familiar with making your own socks, this is for you. The top can be adapted onto a pattern for kneesocks, for those who wish a full sock pattern. The author's hope is to inspire you to create.

My copy is well worn, and I haven't even started on one yet [all those wonderful choices].

This book is worth it's price for the nostalgia alone.
