Summary: This Book Is Unique
Comment: When I picked up Senioritis, I had low expectations. I had never heard of Tate Thompson and the book sounded like a Breakfast Club ripoff. Man was I wrong. Every character in this book brings a new vibrant voice to the page, and it never gets boring. Nakeisha's attitude is so real and Alex's disorder is so dead on. Some of the characters are stereotypical, but they are done so right on that I could not put this book down. The situations are believable and the language of the characters is a testament to this author's great ear for language. This author turned my low expectations into the best reading experience I have had in a long time. I don't read teen books often, but I have been disappointed with more than a few of them. This book does not disappoint. If you want to read a book that represents the youth of today, then this is the truest representation since Catcher in the Rye. Senioritis makes Catcher in the Rye look like ancient history, and it kind of is by now. If Salinger's book is a classic, Thompson's book is a soon to be classic novel. Unbelievable.

Summary: A book to finish!!!
Comment: This is a very good book! I really liked it and I don't read often. When I started reading this, I didnt want to put it down. Mr.Thompson is the type of teacher that you want and need at every school. He doesnt judge you by how you look, what you wear, or if you have the best\worst greades in school. He is everyones bestfriend. This is a book that I would actually suggest that all teens read. They can probably find a character in the book that is very similar to themselves. Mr.Thompson has made a difference in alot of peoples lives. The situations in the book are what alot of the teenagers are going through today.I liked the book alot because the way that they talked in the book is how all these teens actually talk.

Summary: Senioritis
Comment: This book reminds me alot of myself and the people I hang out with. It describes everything almost exactaly how it is here in Junction City. This book tells people really how it is and dosent stretch the truth. This is a good book for teens that are living in the 2000's because Senioritis is so much like the teens we hang out with now.
