Summary: A MUST READ
Comment: THERE IS ONLY A RELATIVE HANDFUL OF HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS STILL ALIVE, AND I WISH THEY WOULD RECORD THEIR STORY AS SONIA WEITZ DID, AS A WAY OF MAKING SURE THE HOLOCAUST IS NOT FORGOTTEN. IT ALSO DETAILS HOW A PERSON CAN LIVE THROUGH THE MOST INHUMANE INCIDENT IN RECORDED HISTORY, AND GROW OUT OF IT WITH A SENSE OF DETERMINATION, WARMTH AND LOVE. IT SHOULD BE ON THE SHELVES OF EVERY PUBLIC AND SCHOOL LIBRARY IN THE NATION.

Summary: An Amazing Story of a Holocaust Survivor
Comment: This incredible and devestating tale of Sonia Weitz and her family depicted the horror of the Holocaust and what it was really like for the Jewish population in Europe. I thought this book was very well written and the poetry all brought insight to what was happening back then.
