Summary: Great book about the greatest producer of popmusic ever!
Comment: This is a really helpful book to gain all the information you did not have about Phil Spector, the elusice en reclusive King of the Symphonies in Popmusic. There are so little books written about the man, that every single one you can get your hands on is a gift. This book certainly is. Lots of information, great pictures of very rare sleeves, you may never see in reality, because of their rarity. Get this book, while you still can and enjoy the life and times of the mad genius Phil Spector.
Let's hope any record company will let him work again, his way, so that we can enjoy some new music produced by The Man again !!

Summary: Still the one
Comment: I have just re-read the definitive Spector book "Collecting Phil Spector, the man, the legend the music" first issued in 1991. The book format, graphics, it's observations and analysis hold up over the years and is surely the definitive critical overview of Spector-sound. It has proven to be a timeless treasure which entertains and invites the reader to return again and again.
