Summary: Garbage - How this book wrecked my bladder
Comment: I am really getting tired of the false information I get due to poor scholarship. I attended a chiropractic school that pushed "drinking lots of water", much like this book is claiming that this is a wonderful cure for disease and good thing to do. After years of doing this I have been informed that my bladder has distended (stretched out) so now I have difficulty fully emptying it. My urologist says that it is not healthy to drink too much water since this is what happens. The cure is to drink less water, only when you are thirsty and it will go back to normal.
If you are thirsty then drink a healthy drink (water, tea, vegetable juice).
So don't waste money on this book or the ignorant chiropractors who recommend it. It will save you a trip to the urologist and problems with your bladder.

Summary: Waterboy was right!! We need high quality H20
Comment: Wow! Just follow the directions, drinking half your body weight in oz. of water daily and your improved health will amaze you!! Say you weigh 150lb., drink a minimum of 75 oz. of water a day. (More if you exercise extensively or if it's abnormally hot out.) It will eliminate excessive eating because you think you're hungry but really you're thirsty. It will get rid of any stomach/ulcer-type pains due to lack of water in your stomach during digestion (Dr. Batman. recommends drinking two glasses prior to meals.) You'll have a renewed wealth of energy. You'll lose weight without trying. You'll be able to think more clearly. The body just can't function properly if it lacks the fluid (WATER!) to move all the important stuff around, for cellular maintenance, growth and disease prevention. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Those who find it dry, miss the important life-saving message that goes beyond the typed text. It's worth the work to read it and ponder it until you understand. For healths sake!

Summary: Don't buy this book
Comment: I bought this book thinking it will help my health. This is a book with a fancy cover but beyond that a bunch of boring dry babble. The book itself feels really cheap and many of the pages have errors. I read the whole book. Did it help my health? No. I read this book about a year ago. I just beacame more aware of water. There are no real practical tips such as when to drink water and how much. What to add in the water? I don't know what book to recommend but don't buy this one.
Also in my experience drinking too much water can make you feel tired as all of your salts are flushed out of your system. I have found that sometimes drinking water right when you get up is helpful. Drink about a cup. Drinking water on hot sunny days will help up to a point. But if it's overdone you will feel tired.
