Summary: Best guidebook EVER
Comment: I own two previous editions of this guidebook, have been to Kauai 4 times, and have found this book to be invaluable. I am planning a wedding on Kauai for April, 2004, and am once again using this book. I have yet to find any flaw with the information contained; I have been on many of the hikes and adventures in the book and have never been disappointed. If you are going to Kauai, don't even hesitate - BUY THIS BOOK and read and re-read it. I've read mine so many times I've lost count just because I enjoy the style and humor with which it is written, and I've also become quite obsessed with Kauai as well.

Comment: When we went to Kauai for the first time we brought along this book. Every rental car in the hotel lot had this in their car and for good reason as it is truly great!

The only problem is now that it is so popular the secret areas in the book won't be so wonderfully secret.

Comment: This book gives you everything you need to know when going to Kauai. It has lots of color pictures and up to date maps. It includes everything from that hidden waterfall to the tourist attractions. Its a must have guide when going to Kauai.
