Summary: Vedic Technique in Western Wrap
Comment: This book is a westernized, computerized rendering of the Vedic system of Ashtakavarga. As an introduction to that topic I would give it 5 stars -- it makes an otherwise bewildering subject somewhat approachable. But overall, the astrology here is not convincing, despite the back cover.

In the Astology of Death, Houck showed himself to be a tough critic of astrological methods. Here, that critical element is missing. Things are fudged a bit. So, I recommend it as an introduction, but then you'll have to get books from India to really explore Ashtakavarga techniques further.
