Comment: As a teacher, I am painfully aware of the potential for violence in our society. Not a day passes by that I do not observe the signs of growing frustration, anger, and eventual loss of self control in an ever-growing segment of our students. It begins at an early age and manifests itself in developing stages - finally erupting and striking out to claim its victims. Volumes have been written on the subject of how to handle the peddlers of violence in our society. Solutions have covered the whole gamut of punishments, ranging from "build more prisons," "demand reparations," and " provide rehabilitation," to "take it out on their hide." However, Dr. Pecci offers an original, eye-opening insight into the problem of violence by pinpointing the root CAUSE of violence. He submits that only by recognizing and removing this root cause of violence will we be able to eradicate it from our midst. As with all of Dr. Pecci's books, his insights are amazing and revolutionary. An invaluable contribution toward a solution to this problem which continues to plague our society.
