Summary: Wonderful introduction to the Texas Hill Country
Comment: This book is truly a collection of treasures. Some of the most interesting people, including musicians, artists, craftspeople, magicians and just plain caring folks can be found in the Texas Hill Country and this book is a great introduction to these people. The Texas Hill Country also has wonderful parks and natural areas, zoos, museums, churches with breathtaking views, chili cooksoffs market days and even a real castle. Mr. Kimball and all the contributing writers show a great interest and love for these places and reading about them makes you wish you were there. I especially like the updates at the end of the features, it gives you a feel of where this person was and where they are now and eliminates the questions often asked, "I wonder what they're doing now?". I highly recommend this book if you are even thinking about heading for the Texas Hill Country.
