Summary: Gentle Loving Presentation of Alcoholism and it's Effects
Comment: This book touches the heart and should be read by every school teacher, guidance counselor, child, parent and grandparent. It is a non judgemental and gentle book that tells the child affected by alcoholism, that they are loved, and it is ok that they may have feelings and hurts associated with alcoholism. It explains the environment of a child affected with alcoholism...it is like the wind. You feel it, but not always see it. The child knows it is there, but doesn't know how to explain it. This interactive book is a must for anyone that is battling the effects of alcohol with children. Buy an extra copy to donate to your local school library. I am a survivor of a father that was an alcoholic and wish this book was around when I was small. Thank you Catherine Mercury from all of us!
