Summary: Outstanding!
Comment: Coping with the stigma of mental illness can, in fact, be an emotionally challenging journey to endure. So many of us "survivors," of course, are painfully aware of that reality. Dont' Call Me Nuts gives a multitude of valuable examples on how we can all do our best at successfully contending with the numerous tasks facing us. Dr. Corrigan and Mr. Lundin have made an OUTSTANDING contribution to the literary arena of mental health!

Rating: 5
Summary: A great book for trainers
Comment: Don't Call Me Nuts is a very complete publication on the topic of stigma as it relates to mental health. The wonderful thing about the way it is written is that it could be used to teach about stigma and predjudice as they relate to any topic. This would be a very helpful book for anyone concerned about mental health or for any teachers, or corporate trainers who want to teach about the painful consequences of prejudice.

Rating: 5
Summary: At last a book of empowerment for those with brain disorders
Comment: When this book arrived in the mail I hoped I wouldn't be disappointed or bored. I needn't have worried, it is fantastic. It reads easily, yet takes on some tough subjects such as: whether or not to disclose mental illness, addressing stigma and suggestions for handling society and bringing about greater understanding. The examples are colorful and the suggestions are useful. What a superb job Patrick Corrigan and Robert Lundin have done. I hope this team puts forth some more books for us.
