Summary: Humor Delivered by Thrusts of a Rapier
Comment: This may not be the funniest book that I have ever read, but I sure can't think of a funnier one! Throughout its zany plot, David White never misses a chance to skewer his targets with his rapier of humor. All the while we are laughing, we can't help but be struck by the inciseveness of his observations and the deftness with which he draws each character and each situation. Anyone who has been reading a newspaper or watching TV over the past eight years can put a face on every character and marvel at White's skill as a literary caricaturist. White includes a long list of targets for his thrusts and it is a delight to see them painted in their true colors.

Summary: Hilarious, from cover to cover
Comment: This book is hilarious. David White takes the reader on a totally irreverent, rollicking, roller coaster ride from cover to cover, that demolishes one left wing mantra after another. Characters include a used car salesman who has forgotten what it feels like to wake up without a hangover, and a quadriplegic who succeeds in having a court order a professional football team to hire him as a running back. The White House is occupied by an intellectually disadvantaged Vice President, obsessed with artificial issues, and a morally corrupt President, both of whom appear vaguely familiar. China's disdain for Washington and influence over American policy is treated with a crisp wit and yet with a disturbing ring of accuracy, given the events of recent years. The problems created by an inept but lofty group of Washington politicians are, ironically, solved in the end by White's collection of California escorts, a high-kicking Mainland Chinese beauty and a few otherwise crafty products of America's automobile industry - hence the title "Factory Guys." The book is a must for anybody with a sense of humor.
