Summary: This book is inaccurate and biased
Comment: As a parent really interested in this topic, I was very disappointed to find out that key information in this book was inaccurate -- one example is the review of a school that moved two years ago, the author lists the new address and then reviews the school in the OLD location! I've visited several of the schools and started to see a pattern of bias very quickly. Unfortunately, I don't really trust this resource given the major inaccuracies, but wish there were an accurate reference to help parents navigate through the many options.

Summary: The most definitve and amusing guide
Comment: This book is incredibly helpful to parents in evalutating the the morass of private schools in Los Angeles. the information is set forth comprehensively and intelligently and makes one realize that there are real choices and distinctions in one school from the other. The brochures sent out by the schools make them all sound the same so this book is not only useful but actually uplifting! It is hard to imagine that such a subject could actually be presented in an amusing manner, but incredibly, this book is very witty and also made me laugh out loud as well! This is an essential guide to all Los Angeles parents!

Summary: Finally - Just What I Needed !!
Comment: The other books about schools merely printed the schools' borchures. This book gives insights beyond what the schools want you to know. I don't have time to review every school on my own. Now I don't have to. This book is making my life alot easier. Thank you.
