Rating: 5
Summary: A fantastic book to get started with Reporting Services
Comment: As Mann states the audience for this book is for the beginner and intermediate audience. Let's face it we are all beginners at this stage! In a step-by-step well thought out manner, Mann guides the reader through the set-up of SQL Server Reporting Services.
He then guides the reader through the steps required to 'kick-start' his/her productivity with this new and exciting product.

The sections that I found the most useful included the sections on "Report processing and management" in addition to the section on the "Deployment of reports".

The book can be read in one sitting, and one can become productive in surprisingly short period of time.
The author is to be commended for his efforts.

Rating: 1
Summary: Excellent Source of Information
Comment: This books demonstrates clearly how to use SQL Reporting Services. There are numerous example with detailed steps on how to effectively use this excellent product to create professional reports.
I recommend this as a pocket manual for anybody wishing to learn how to do professional reports quickly!

Rating: 5
Summary: Excellent Value for the money - All you will ever need
Comment: The book dispenses with fluff and explains the architecture and important point of reporting services in a concise format. As with most developers you will be able to figure out deeper techical issues via msdn newsgroups and google. After reading the book you will have learnt enough to be productive. Not a page is wasted- Excellent Work that is available at the same time with the product release not 1 year after you need it.
