Summary: Safety For All People
Comment: I read this brothers book when it was referred to me from Minister Samuel. He said that the information in this book is a message to save lives. Yes Minister Samuel was right.
This book is for all no matter what gender or what race. The information is endless and should be used in any house as guidelines to keep the youngsters and the elders free from needless harm.
In reading this here book I enjoyed and found myself enlightening. The general information is very easy way to read, follow and put to use. The information for God's children seems like it comes right from the main man himself.
All to all this book is excellent and the writer does a true revelation of getting the message across to STAY SAFE and to watch out for the youngsters!

Summary: The Book On Personal Protection
Comment: The recent Florida incident showed the world how real these abductions happen and how easy the predator takes advantage of the weak. After seeing the video over and over again and being corner by my kids asking me why I decided to search out some personal protection books and get some sound information to relay to my kids.
First I must be very candid. Many of books on the market either try to profile the bad guys or try to show you how to beat them up. The Personal Protection Handbook does neither. It takes the safety subject and breaks it down in the most sensible, common sense approach for everyday people that as the book says "teaches you how to outsmart the bad guy."
The author, Tom Patire, talks from his heart and from his life experiences and comes up with a formula that makes the book an excellent read. Each chapter has tips, checklists and short stories that example the need for safety but that book does great work in leading all the scary, fear based stuff out.
There is information for children through adults and the book hits home on explaining the difference between a bad guest, bad guy, and bad situation. The book then goes on and explains a 'streetwise' version of what lurks out in society and how to non-physically deal with it should you end up in a direct confrontation.
Tom Patire gets into your soul in this book reinforcing the meaning of life and the people we care about and getting you to realize that safety is a personal thing. If you are anybody in this world you care about another and because of that this book is a must read. If you are looking for a self defense book that teaches you to beat up attackers, which is really just false sense of security, then this book is not for you. If you are looking for a book that puts "brain over brawn' then this book is your ticket.
It is a shame what lurks in society but I love life no differently than most people, so when you find a "good read" with loads of information that can help preserve why not take it for what it's worth and learn to be safe by being prepared!
This book is a very, very "good" read!

Summary: SAFETY-PROOF!
Comment: My boyfriend gave me an early Valentine's gift which was Tom Patire's book. At first I just looked at him and then I said "where's my candy!" Since I did not laugh after that he just looked at me.
Inside the book re-wrote - "Honey I want us to grow old together so when I'm off traveling the information in this book will help keep you safe!"
After reading that I hugged him and told him I loved him and then sat down to read the book. WHAT A GREAT BOOK! It is very enjoyable to read and has hundreds of tips to keep people of all ages safe. I particularly loved the intro stories and how Tom Patire talks about his life and his family. He made the book "friendly" not scary and he introduces you to safety in a way I never thought possible.
His book goes on and gives checklists, tips, examples and do's and don'ts. The best part of his book is there is nothing frightening in it and it is a book that you want to read several times and each time you read it you get more and more empowered.
Yes I will admit this book changed me and has me thinking but it also changed me to realize that my boyfriend cares about me and my safety but I also need to care as much otherwise what good is it.
If you have somebody you love giving this book is a good way to show them not only how much you love them but how much you care about them.
"Happy Valentines Day"
