Comment: This is a guide for physicians on caring for children with special needs. It would best be described as spotty. At times the amount of detail significantly exceeds what is truly known; at other times there is much less detail than one might expect. The book would have profitted from a broader range of authors. Some chapters are very good indeed but I was disappointed that this was not uniformly true!
