Comment: If you're looking for a book that gives you details about the way trout live and feed, this is it. The author does a fine job of converting his years of experience on rivers and streams into words. Although my wife mocks me, I've read it numerous times. Certainly not a book for the casual reader, but it's helped me as a fly-fisherman to better know how and where trout feed, meaning more successful days on the water.
