Summary: Not focus - doesn't worth it's while
Comment: This book is of no real use. It has several parts which introduce several basic concepts of C++, which might have made it a below average C++ book (there are many better books on C++ and it has many topics on C++ missing). It also doesn't give sufficient information On either ray tracing or fractals. The author, from one reason or another, decided to limit himself to explaining his ray tracer and giving some general information about fractals. The book generally gives a feeling of an author who tried to write one book about C++, fractals and computer graphics. But didn't do a good job on either subject.
