The how to's tell how to practice on samples and how to do complicated designs. I like lots of details for how to's, especially the pictures,which it has. Pictures are next best to having a video or person show you. The projects are 2 piece dresses and vests and decorative home furnishing projects-- even pictures. The Lace is either floral, abstract curved designs, or applique combinations. It is a very complete and thorough book. That's why I ranked it a 5 star!!
