Comment: This guide provides a variety of exercises which add "flesh" to any group interaction. I used it daily when I worked as a rehabilitation skills therapist with mentally ill adults. The exercises provided a means to communicate, create trust, and build relationships. The exercises range from simple to elaborate and fit into many situations. This book is a great resource to use with children, adolescents, and in certain contexts with adults. It's a must-have for any therapist, counselor, teacher, or mentoring adult.

Summary: Very effective and enjoyable activites
Comment: SiriNam Khalsa's book never sits on my book shelf for more than a few days. I work with kids who need to practice a variety of social skills and exhibit low self-esteem. I find these exercises to be non-threatening and a real catalyst for insight and change. I highly recommend this book to all professionals in the helping field, teachers and counselors included. I'm looking forward to Volume II?!
