Comment: Buyer beware. As explained in the book's forward, "this is not an all-new Survey. It is an Update...We have included 30 key places that were not in the previous Survey, as well as made changes to indicate new addresses, phone numbers, chef changes etc." In other words, the reviews are similar or identical to those found in 1999.

Also, note that "more than 550 restaurants are covered with input from more than 560 people." This is a pretty low reviewer-to-restaurant ratio, so the reviews do not necessarily reflect the input of many different opinions.
