Comment: ... don't bother with this book. First of all, it has virtually no maps. The entire book only has four tiny overview maps in the front overleaf. Want to find a winery or a restaurant? Good luck.
We did use this book to find an affordable B&B (although there are great websites for this too), so I hesitated to give it one star. However, the person that ran our B&B was a rude grumpy lady and the breakfast was mediocre, and so we really didn't enjoy our stay there. In fact, the only thing I recall this book being helpful with the entire week is finding one nice restaurant in Santa Rosa for dinner. Not finding how to get there - we used our free map for that.

Comment: I agree completely with John Nagiecki's comments below, dated September 4. As the co-author of this book, I can verify that the review dated August 30, 2001 is a work of fiction. The "quote" cited by the reviewer does not appear in our book.
