Summary: If you think MCSEcertification is too hard- read these books
Comment: I read early reviews that indicated that the Exam Cram books were poorly written (too many errors). However, the set I ordered from Amazon.com in Aug 98 was well edited and I didn't have to visit the Coriolis website for any errata updates. What I can say is that I passed all four core exams on my first attempt. These books have provided the results I'm interested in. They saved me time and money and have given me confidence to know that I will soon acheive my MCSE goals. Based on my successful experiences with the MCSE Core-Four Exam Cram Pack, I will also be using the MCSE Exam Cram Electives-Four Pack to complete my certification. I've had only limited hands-on experience and it's very satisfying to realize just how much can be learned in such a short period of time with a moderate amount of effort. I highly recommend these books.

Summary: 14 Pages of Errors!
Comment: I purchased the Exam Cram 4-pack for the Core exams. I read some reviews of the books that stated that there were some errors, but nothing really major. I used Alan Carter's NT 4 study guide and then read the NT workstation and did find enough errors that it was fairly rustrating. Then, I checked the examcram website and found that for both the Server and Workstation books there were about 14 pages of corrections. I will admit that these books contain a lot of good information and a few of the corrections were very minor issues, but there were a significant number of serious errors that I had not found while reading the book. Even the pull-out cram sheet was riddled with errors. I realize that some of these errors have been corrected in later printings, but like I said, I just bought the set last month at a very well known bookstore. I truly wish I hadn't purchased the set. The time I spend correcting all the errors could have been productive study time.

Comment: If you cannot pass the test with these books as your guide/resource, then you are one of the 70% that Microsoft does *NOT* want as an MCSE! These books are direct and to the point for *ANYONE* with limited knowledge of networking Microsoft products. I passed 6 tests within 6 weeks, thats 1 test per week with these books as my guide to further my education of MS products. Paper MCSE's need not apply!
