Summary: It makes sense!
Comment: Mr. Heinrich wrote a book based on his years of trying different diets and has distilled the essence of them (if you will) into something that is understandable and sensible. Fad diets last as long as most fads; Mr. Heinrich's book gives you guidelines you can follow for the rest of your life. If you are going to have one diet book, this is it. I highly recommend it!
Rating: 5
Summary: Long overdue work of genius!
Comment: Very important information put in a concise format showing why the average american diet as well as the government recommended diet are the cause of obesity and disease. The book should be reviewed regularly to help combat the wrong information that we are bombarded with from our doctors, the media, friends and family. Hopefully this is one more step towards a major change in this country.
Rating: 5
Summary: Not only the how to but the why's of effective dieting!
Comment: An excellent analysis of the theory behind effective weight management. Mr Heinrich unscores the need for an ongoing commitment to healthy eating. His approach is refreshing. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a way to understand weight management and nutrition.
