Comment: This book was very helpful..especially to people trying to understand the difference in chronic pain such as fibromyalgia or arthris such as rheumatoid. It gives just enough scientific information but also offers practical advice. It was easy to read...and the index was very helpful.

Comment: I love the quotes selected from other literature that are found at the beginning of each chapter. They provide food for thought as well as a diversion from factual information.

Diagrams and charts are interspersed and clearly simplify the rhetoric.

The book as a whole is easily understood by someone with no medical training. Yet it appears to provide very logical and sensible points that should be beneficial to medical professionals. It contains a wealth of information from which all of us dealing with chronic pain can derive help.
