Comment: Hypnosis has a bad press among Christians. For some Christians groups it can often be among the list of evil influences which need major surgery to remove. John Court presents here a fascinating and profound review of the whole subject, which will force you to rethink and conclude that given some sensible (but far reaching) precautions, hypnosis can be a valuable tool to reinforce what is happening when a counselling client has made a start to head in the right direction. This book should also definitely be read by Christians not involved in counselling to produce some clear thinking on the subject.
