Summary: Would you buy poison if it came in candy wrapper?
Comment: Don't trust labels. Just because it says "Child Safe" or
"Christian" doesn't mean it is.
This is apparently a "Christian" book, however, I was
disturbed by the text near the end...when his maker points
and says, "Did I create Wemmicks to act like that."
I won't type the offending material here but I would urge
you to read this book CAREFULLY before giving it to your child.
DO NOT GIVE THIS BOOK TO SOMEONE AS A GIFT
UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE OFFENDING MATERIAL

Summary: Back to the Basics of God's Love for Everyone!
Comment: What started out as me simply reading a story for my son at the book store wound up to be me crying and barely able to finish. This story as well as You Are Special are reminders of getting back to the basics of what God has for us. The unduplicated joy of being in His ownership if we would simply allow it.
