Comment: This book epitomizes what is wrong with children's books today. Everyone thinks he/she is an authority on what they do for a living and can foist that "definitive" perspective on children in whatever inane way they can think of. Sadly, in this case, the publisher bought it. And children who are interested in aviation will make the mistake of buying it. The sounds of an airplane are perhaps the last thing that would rivet a child to aircraft! And this author forces sounds much like a thirteen year old boy with a cupped hand and an armpit. PITty.
