Mr. Fells explains collectors and their fascination with orchids, and by the time you

He explains that there are
-over 25,000 species/kinds
-the largest collection in the world at Durban Botanical Gardens, South Africa
-the American Orchid Society boasts 30,000 members
The dichotomy/ the make-up arrangement of an orchid, pollinators and pollination is
explored. Orchids in the wilds, their environment (sea level to altitude of 14,000 feet
from Arctic Circle to the sub-arctic) are all included. Species, hybrids, seeds, colors
of,
"The vanilla orchid is a vining plant that produces green flowers and a long brown
