Summary: A short but complete documentary of the Titanic
Comment: In a brief but very complete documentary, this book tells the story of the Titanic. Without going into great detail the book gave me an understanding regarding the circumstances surrounding the final demise of the Titasnic. I felt as though I were there, could feel the sorrows and horrors of those who were there and felt the loss as the Titanic slipped away to her final resting place. I would love to see her or rather have seen her in her magnificent glory where I would have been awed by her size and state of technology at the time the Titanic was conceieved. Though there are many stories and theories about the Titanic, I believe this book relates to the closest circumstances to what actually happened. There are those, who rushed her existence, shorted her on testing and should have been held accounted for, for the lack of safety that was not provided on her maiden voyage. But, we did learn from the Titanic and she will always be with us in our minds and hearts. This is an outstanding book.

Summary: straightforward titanic book
Comment: JIM CLARY HAS WRITTEN A NICE STARGIHTFORWARD, NO NONSENSE TITANIC BOOK. IT ALSO SHOWCASES SOME OF HIS FAMOUS ARTWORK OF THE TITANIC. HIS WRITING STYLE IS EASY TO READ, CONSIDERING THE SUBJECT HE WROTE ABOUT HAS BEEN COVERED FROM EVERY ANGLE. A DEFINITE MUST FOR A TITANIC BUFFS BOOKSHELF!
Rating: 5
Summary: Concise with interesting new facts and conclusions.
Comment: Enjoyed the view of a maritime artist who delved into a lot of detail that many others ignored or considered unimportant. The sweat that went into the building of the Titantic is fascinating. I found the uncaring attitude of the passengers and crew while the ship was going down amazing.
