Comment: this book serves up some eternal truths about relationships, and these factors are relevant for both young and older. i would guess that if you have not embraced these and followed most of them--you have moved on and are no longer together...

Comment: I am a widower who hopes to share his life with the right woman. Finding this book was a wonderful suprise. I was not alone in seeking a new love. Many of the examples and suggestions applied to me! After reading it twice I had a comfortable sense of relief. Thank you Jerry and Edith

Summary: common sense and fragments of lives
Comment: At most times when I was reading this book, I thought "that's just common sense, what are you telling me that's new and helpful?" The authors recount the different lives and choices of 15 older couples in a fragmented series of annecdotes about what they look like, how they enjoy sex, who their friends are and all matters both important and trivial. The authors have a great subject to deal with but did not do the subject justice. Too many stories, and too little practical advice.
