Summary: Just try to set this one down!
Comment: Regardless of your political views or religious beliefs, you will be creatively and intensely challenged by the author to take a fresh look at the meaning of your personal existence, as well as the role we each play in the formulation of the "Big Picture". --- Not only as a flesh and blood human being on this planet, but as a "being" in a much broader, seemingly limitless sense. This isn't your typical "Good Guy, Bad Guy" scenario. I found myself sympathizing with each character's struggle to fulfill their particular destiny. The author manages to address some very controversial, real-time issues with enough sensitivity and humor not to offend the reader, but enough of a punch to keep you turning the pages well beyond your bedtime. This thriller will have the book clubs talking!

Summary: The Crows are Watching
Comment: After reading this book, I will never think of crows in quite the same way again. I notice them everywhere, but usually in groups of just two or three--perhaps not wanting to raise my suspicions.

Justin and Max are in for the ride of a lifetime, tracked and chased across the country drawing ever closer to the showdown between good and evil. This nail biter never lets us throw in the bookmark and get some shuteye. Before our eyes, Max evolves from derelict to defender of all that is good. Truman is defrocked as the defender of all that is good to be revealed as the minion of evil. And Justin is our everyman along for the ride--faith challenged and not sure what is real.

With the backdrop of a nation divided by different views of our involvement in the Middle East, "Crow's Nest" takes us on a spiritual journey that examines good and evil and our participation in each. Nothing is quite what it seems and all things are possible.

You will enjoy this book and you will never see crows quite the same way again.
