The girls are people you could look up to. Jo the secound eldest is a tom boy wishing that she was born one, and a book worm. Amy the youngest one is very wise for her age. Meg the eldest sister is about fitting in and watching over her sisters when ever there mother is not around. Beth loves her music andthere old piano, she seems like one of shyest and careing of all the sisters. all of them are different but they all have one thing in comon, there family and they care for each other.

i love the illustrations of Dinah Dryhurst. the pictures bring the story to life. they are Beautifuly done.
